To understand the work and yourself even better. Failure is an essential part of your success. If you don’t learn to accept it and turn it into something constructive, you simply will not succeed.

3. You’ll Need Money

Money is always going to be an obstacle. You may be so skeptical that you refuse to invest any of your hard-earned cash. Just note there will come a point when this becomes illogical and detrimental to your efforts.

If you think that you’re going to start a successful business without investing a penny – you clearly know something the rest of the world does not. I’m not saying remortgage your house, or go into debt.

What I’m saying is to create a budget and learn to work with it. Make it part of your strategy. Doesn’t matter if it’s small, but it needs to be something.

Money certainly can be an enabler. Essentially all money is a form of energy. It’s a resource. Money can get you ahead, there’s no doubt about that.

However, it can also get you to the wrong place faster as well and often a lack of it can be the gift you never knew you needed, as it will force you to be more creative and solution-driven.

However just remember if you haven’t got the money, you need to replace it with another resource and in most cases that means your time. Be prepared to put in both time and money, but if your current situation merits more time then money.

Know that that is your currency and you need to learn to exchange it for the results you want.

5. You’re Going to Feel Uncomfortable

Your thoughts, attitude, your actions, and your beliefs have all led to you being in the socio-economic state you find yourself in now.

Therefore these same patterns are not going to lead you to where you want to be. It’s not not logical that the same method will get you different results.

What does this mean? It means you will be required to change. Change often brings about feelings of discomfort. When we feel uncomfortable we start telling ourselves so many stories.

This is so we can justify moving away from the discomfort and back to normalcy.

This is turn inhibits our ability to grow and therefore to change. If you don’t develop the ability to go through discomfort as it arises you will not get the results you want.

You ability to be consistent will be a determining factor in your success. How you react and behave on these days will decide your fate. In other words, you will decide if you succeed or not. No one else, just you.

Knowing how to do something is not going to be your problem. It may seem like it is sometimes but that’s just an illusion.

You will be your biggest obstacle – understand yourself, your thought process, your values, your conscious and unconcious habits, your reactions, your beliefs, coming to terms with your past and your conditioning will all play a role in your success in business.
